come on summer

Am I the only one that is not loving the up and down weather we are having in australia right now. One day I have to wear long pants and cardis, and the next I am back in shorts and tees. The saltwater sandals go on, and off and I am swapping with my connies each consecutive day.

I am not wanting to complain, as I am sure I will complain when it gets way too hot; well maybe not. But come on aussie come on, come on. Let's bring on summer! (oh and that little chant of bring on aussie does not mean I like the cricket, because truth be told I do not like it. Cricket is the summer sport, so I thought it was the best song to sing out loud).

Time to be brave today. Sun is out. Clear blue sky out the window. Time to slip on those swimmers and have a paddle.

  2. I agree, bring on summer. I want shorts and saltwaters. I want sun for more than two days in a row. I want to not have a blanket over me on the couch at night time. I want little Ls chubby legs and michelin arms to be free.

  3. The weather here is the other way round! One day it's hats and gloves and scarves and 10 layers because of the minus temperatures and then it's boiling up as I walk to work! Loving your beach outfit and gorgeous photos as ever. Ah, summertime xx

  4. Hu-rr-ay up! I agree. I want summer. Try living in Melbs, we get a taste of it for a second and then it's gone again. It makes me sad :(

  6. My problem with this weather is the washing. To wash or not to wash. I've gone the whole hog and done three loads today. And now the grey skies are making me nervous. Gorgeous pics of the littlies on the beach. xx

  9. What gorgeous kiddos you have! Love the photographs. At least in NZ we are pretty sure of the weather - mostly rain :)
