you can leave your hat on

This is only a thought, so do not get too excited..... I am thinking about buying a pair of heels. Yes, that is right, a pair of heels. Something with a little height, and that instant sexiness. I am feeling it. And it is all thanks to Taj. He showed me that anyone can rock heels.

I am serious though. I am going to try some on. I am a little scared, but I think it is time for me to feel that sexiness that women talk about. I am feeling it on the inside, (when I am not having a moment), and I figure this all sits well with my midlife crisis.

I do not believe I am having a midlife crisis. I only say it, as someone said it to me. I have continued it, and it is fun playing on it. Remember, I bought a skateboard over a sports car!

If you have any tips on buying heels for the first time, I would love to hear them. Or any reason why I should not buy them!

  3. Oh, now you know I'm excited! Try a wedge first, as the Beettle Shack suggests. The most important thing with heels is that the entire sole of your foot should connect with the sole of the shoe - if not you're standing on tip-toes and that hurts after a few minutes. Make sure the heel isn't wobbly, if it is it's probably not sturdy enough. And a bit of a platform at the front means you can wear a higher heel.

    Happy heel hunting.

  6. How about some platforms? You get the height but also some comfort. : )

  7. I've been thinking about doing the same, but I'm just afraid I'm not going to wear them. I feel like I'm too tall to wear them (all my friends are short). Good luck! :)

  8. No. You don't need heels. If you are feeling it from the inside, then you already have it. I think women look amazing in ballet flats or converse. Just look at Noora looks from the Marimekko Converse video. She looks amazing. I personally don't think you need heels, but this is coming from someone who doesn't wear and has no interest in wearing heels. It is also just my opinion and you should do whatever makes you feel amazing. xxxx

  9. I agree with both One Yellow Jumpsuit and The Beetle Shack. I think converse are fabulous, and I cannot live without mine. I also love wearing my heels to work. You are right, there is something about them. Go the wedge for comfort, but you could try a little stiletto. You will never know until you try them on. J x

  10. Rock the wedge. Not the wedgie. The wedge. There is nothing more comfortable or easy to walk in. I love mine.

  11. I agree with one yellow jumpsuit. I don't wear heels either, they feel like torture after 10 mins and i feel i look like a bad Tranny if i walk in them. That being said i'm all for clogs and you could try these babies: http://www.funkis.com/clogs-sandals-1/ankle-strap-suede-purple.html
they would look great casual or dressed up.
Don't fall for the Sex in The city stiletto wearing hype is sexy...... Funky, happy, comfortable & confident is far more sexy.
    Don't you think?

  12. Sharon, I very much agree with you! I think it is how you feel on the inside, and truly it does not matter what kicks you are wearing on your feet. It is how you carry yourself! I tried on a pair of clogs. I felt instant kicky pow, but I must say I think I too would be sore after 10 minutes walking in them. I will keep looking.... today I checked out a pair of Marimekko connies. There is something about them, that makes me feel instant sexiness!
