L . O . V . E

Being a parent is rewarding and one that I cherish everyday. I love being a mum and I love supporting other mums around me. There is one thing we all have in common and that is we all love when our children do things that make us think wow. They can be small little things they do, or even huge things.

For the past week I have been staying up quite late doing work for the website, writing and doing a little bit of other work on the side. If I am up close to midnight a little voice calls my name from my bedroom. My little Taj is telling me he would like me to come to bed. So the computer gets shut down instantly, the teeth get brushed and I jump into bed to snuggle up to my little boy.

On tuesday night I was called to come to bed, and when I opened the door Taj said, "cuddle, {cuttle}," and I jumped in and gave him the biggest cuddle. I told him I loved him, like I do several times a day. He usually says nothing and snuggles more into my neck. But tuesday night he said, "yuve you!" Those sweet words. I thought I was hearing things, or maybe I just wanted to hear it again...... I am sure you would all be the same! So I told Taj I loved him again. He then said, "yuve you!" This time it was followed by the biggest giggle. He knew I was proud and those words were making his mumma really happy.

You know your children love you without those beautiful words that mean so much. When you hear them for the first time it touches you in such a way. We do our best everyday to be the best parents we can be for our children and when you know that they "yuve" you it is makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Being a mum rocks and I yuve it!
