creative canon :: shoes

I am loving my new camera. Canon 7d. This sexy camera has been allowing me to have a creative outlet and to shoot images of people, and my life around me. I love capturing moments in time and creating memories. I am going to photograph for a living too, and I have portraits booked in for little people and their families.

There are many people that love to photograph and have this part of their living and not a hobby anymore. I have joined up with a gorgeous friend of mine in New Zealand, Lou from Canon Chronicles. Every 2 weeks we are going to photograph according to a theme. This week we decided we would kick it off with my favourite image; the foot photo. It is all about shoes.

I love Lou's image. It is creative, fun and made me giggle! Very clever lovely lady. Pop on over to canon chronicles and have a look around. Lou is loving her new addition to her family. We are open to themes if you have an idea, or a challenge!

My image symbolises the change of seasons here in Australia. We are creeping closer and closer to the warmer weather. I dream of the day I slip my feet into a pair of thongs or awesome salwater sandals.

You can purchase these sandals at Pulp Life in Manly; my shop! Yes I went back. I have found something I would love. I will share next week.

  8. oh bron.... I was beside myself too! I am sure it will be attached to you.

    Corinne, I use Lightroom, and a bit of photoshop, but more lightroom. I have set up my own presets and I make new ones all the time. It is fun! You can do the same in photoshop with creating your own actions.

  9. paula, I love hands. They tell such a story. They are full of wisdom, like the wrinkles on a persons face, or the soul you can see looking into a persons eyes. x

  12. FUN! Girl do you ever stop?! I really am not sure where and when you find the time, AMAZING! As far as Saltwaters, ADORE. Just going to say it, Made in the USA {always rocks with me!}. Avery's has gotten a pair every summer, I have always wanted one to but thought they would be silly. But you made me change my mind!
