beautiful weekend full of circles

Do you ever feel when you are going away that you are going around in circles with your organisation? I am a bit dizzy right now from all the things that are going around in my head. I am sure it won't all get done. I am sure there are some of you that love lists. I have no idea why, but I just don't do them. I use my head list. Sometimes it is reliable and other times it lets me down. The main thing is to make sure the business side of things is all done before I leave, and that I walk out of the house this week with not only a suitcase but my two little people too.

I had a weekend that was full of a little chaos with washing flying everywhere to moments of relaxation. Well not really relaxing, but more relaxing then what I had at home to do. I managed to get out in the sun and make the most of a beautiful spring weekend here in Sydney.

I went for my waffle on saturday, but this time I got us all take away and we went to our favourite beach to indulge and for some beach play, or as I like to call it, some easy parenting. It really cannot get much easier then putting your feet in the sand, listening to the laughter of little people, spending time with an awesome friend and building some sandcastles. Of course there are moments of chaos and hair standing up on your arms. It wouldn't be motherhood, or parenthood without the chaos.

For the record the waffle went down well, and the soy lattes are really nice. I am feeling like I am writing a post that is running around in circles. Can my organising head be that bad on a monday morning?

  1. Yeah, someone else who doesn't write lists. I can see why people love them, but eveytime I've tried to use them, I end up doing nothing on the list and feel like I just wasted my time trying to write the list. A couple of times I have even added the 'done' items to the list and then crossed them off, so I felt like I had done something on the list.

It looks like you had a beautiful weekend and I hope your head stops spinning soon. xxx
