sydney's red dust storm

This morning Sydney woke to the most amazing colour sky as the sun tried to pierce through the dust that blanketed over Sydney. I kicked my husband out the door to go and get some images down at our local beach, Dee Why and these are the beautiful and eerie images he captured.

Please note, these images are the property of Simon Whitbread, professional photographer, and are not to be used without his permission. If using to re-blog please give credit to back to Little Pinwheel.

  2. it is the high winds out west, which are creating the dust to go into the air and the red is from the sun trying to get through the thick blanket of dust...this hole environment thing blows me away!
