to dance on the paper

Do you ever over do things. You know think about it too much, and then freak? Well I have freaked. And, yes it is all over the blog post I spoke about yesterday. It is full on. It is something that I am not too sure if I truly do want to share. Some of my closest friends do not even know, and I think it might be something I need to really think about, and be careful about, before I share it. There is nothing wrong, and I am truly fine, and still happy. This is something that happened to someone very close to me early this year.

I also believe that it could be looked at differently as this post is for a competition, and I believe that this subject needs to be standing out on its own. Don't worry I have awesome to share for my drive post! I am sharing the funny side of me, and a little bit serious too. Something I am sure will spark conversation.

I am sorry that I am not ready to share this, but know one day I will. I just need to loose the freakiness of it all, and write it from the heart, and share when the time is right. I have rewritten it too many times for it to be what I would like it to be. It needs to just come out, and be like I am sitting in front of you, and each word freely coming from within.

That is how I write. And how I want to continue to write. It should be easy, just like dancing on a piece of paper.

sharing it

There are times in your life when you have something that happens that you wish you could share to the most important person, but they are no longer here. My mum was that person. Now I have this blog where I share things. Sometimes it feels like I am blowing my own trumpet and other times I feel like I am writing about pity. But it is far from either of these two things.

I write here because it is a safe place to share my voice. (I know it is a little random to have a place which is open to the world that feels so safe; that is blogging). This is a place to share the real. You know those real life things that we bury, or never really face. Or things we wish we could shout out to the world, with a big jump in the air. This is it. This is my place. This is your place.

Yesterday, as you know I was in the best children's fashion magazine in Australia, and it was always a dream of mine, and now I am there. I truly am there, and it feels surreal. And oh so awesome. (That is my shout out, and big jump in the air). This is my proud moment, that I wish I could share.

I also had the top 50 bloggers cocktail party and it was such a great night meeting amazing, and inspirational bloggers. As you know, I have to do a blog post to hopefully make it to the top 5. This post needs to be on "drive." I have written two blog posts, and they are saved as drafts. I have one I was going to post that is a little inspirational, I guess, and another that is very raw, and very inspirational(?). I was scared to share the raw. And after last night, I am not so scared.

Being here, and writing here, is not about pity, it is not about patting myself on the back, or blowing my own trumpet. It is about using my voice, and not being scared to share. It is about hopefully touching you all in some way. Somedays I won't even make you laugh, and somedays you won't cry, and somedays you won't feel anything. But these days that you feel nothing, someone out there, even if it is one person will feel something. I think that is enough. I believe you can change one person's life.

When you see my post, it is not pity. It is not about "winning." It is about sharing awareness, and giving hope.

lucky me

I am one lucky woman today. I am actually lucky everyday, but today I am even luckier. There is all kinds of awesome about this day. Today I will go to the newsagency and purchase the best children's fashion magazine, Shop 4 Kids. It has always been a dream of mine to be in there. Today I am in there. Today I launch into the Top 50 Bloggers for Kidspot**. I was nominated and made it to the top 50. I now have a challenge, and that challenge is a blog post. This challenge could launch me into the top 5 bloggers, and I could win a Ford Territory for a whole year! Today you can vote for me by clicking on the kidspot banner, and vote on my page. You can only vote once.

Today I am lucky. Tomorrow I will also be lucky. I have no idea what tomorrow will bring, but when you walk with two beautiful children by your side, you cannot help but to feel lucky.

**Tonight I am frocking up. Well, I am not too sure if I will wear a dress, but frocking up sounds better! The launch into the Top 50 Bloggers means I am attending a cocktail party in the city with a whole bunch of awesome bloggers. We are tweeting the night away. So if you are on twitter come and follow me, and follow the other awesome bloggers. I am sure it will be a great night. You can read all about the blog post I need to do here. I am working on the post!

my mumso day

Motherhood is more than I ever dreamed it would be. You feel love like you have never felt love before. It is unconditional.

A beautiful mother's day with my little people. Thank you x

I have to say homemade gifts are the best!.... Keely made the card for me by herself, after the lovely girls at Pulp helped her pick out all the beautiful things she wanted to use. Keely made me a pottery leaf, and Taj made me a heart thingy that I am hanging off the fridge. There is so much love and thought in these gifts.

mother's day around the moon

I love you to the moon and back mum.

My mother's day is tomorrow. It will be spent doing what we do. There will be no change in our little saturday routine. It is perfect the way it is. I love just being with them. That along with homemade goodies made with love from my little people is a perfect mother's day. (Pulp Creative Paper... here we come)!

happy mother's day x

{happy mother's day to my beautiful mumso; a day I will spend with you in my way}

a baby tummy

I have an announcement to make..... Taj is pregnant! He has a baby in his tummy. His baby grew in his tummy on Tuesday. He had a sore tummy, and told me it was because there was a baby in there. Apparently it is a BIG baby.

Taj tells me that his baby is a girl, and she is coming out at 2. After telling me the exciting news Taj continues to say that the baby is not coming out. She is staying inside.

I am not too sure when Taj's baby is coming out, or if she will just disappear. I will let you all know if we have a birth. I have no doubt if we do that this will be a very interesting time.

Congratulations to my little rockstar... you are going to be a dad!

keely rocks fashion week

Keely is such a model. We are having our very own fashion week here at Little Pinwheel.

Our fashion week is all about dancing the catwalk, and having a giggle at the same time.

Taj is next. He keeps telling me he wants to model too. This one will be interesting! There will be belly laughing as I try to get Taj to stand still long enough for me to snap him.

I might need his big sister to show him some moves, and to show him where to stand. He listens to Keely...... when he wants to.
